The latest report from industry sources related to Apple’s supply chain concerns the successor to the iPhone SE.
Rumor has it that Apple is already preparing for an early 2022 announcement of the “iPhone SE 3,” as the source calls it. The Cupertino-based company has reportedly created new openings for chip probing specialists through its partner Xintec.
Xintec is responsible for the quality testing process and is a subsidiary of TSMC. It is also a long-time partner of Apple as a component supplier for the first iPhone SE as well as for the SE (2020).
The new information is in line with Ming-Chi Kuo’s prediction that Apple could release a successor to the iPhone SE in the first half of next year, so we think it holds some credibility.
