It has been confirmed that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold3 will finally use the S Pen stylus and now an FCC list officially mentions that the device will be compatible with the S Pen Pro.
FCC List of S Pen Pro
The new list confirms that Samsung’s stylus, which has not yet been released, which has been announced alongside the Galaxy S21 Ultra, will work with the next foldable that is explicitly mentioned alongside the duo S21 Ultra, Note20, Note10 Lite, Tab S7 and Tab S6. This group of devices will support Air actions via Bluetooth LE. The other foldable to come – the Galaxy Z Flip3 is not mentioned in the list of supported devices.

The S Pen Pro itself will charge via USB-C and has a 100 mAh battery rated at 5.0 V. The Z Fold3 will likely reverse the stylus’ wireless charging in the same way as on the Galaxy Tab lineup. The foldable will probably come without a dedicated slot for the S Pen, so you’ll have to attach it to a case somehow.
