Honor introduced the 50 series, its first flagship since it became an independent brand. We’ve seen three smartphones, and since they’re all limited to the Chinese market, foreign users can’t really enjoy them.
That is expected to change on August 12 – that’s when Honor would hold a global press conference, according to @OnLeaks.
While the Honor 50 with GMS is the most obvious and logical range of smartphones to see, the company might have something up its sleeve. The brand has confirmed that a Magic3 device with the Snapdragon 888 Plus smartphone will arrive soon, and this global press conference could be an opportunity to see the new true flagship that promises to be the first device on the market with the new Qualcomm chipset.
Honor now holds the patents for the nicknames Magic Fold, Magic Flip and Magic Tab, so we’d love to see more of these surprises, especially after the report earlier in the day, BOE is developing a new ultra-thin glass for an 8″ foldable device by Honor.
