The Oppo A16 that we have been hearing about since May has been officially unveiled. It is built around a 6.52″ HD+ LCD display with a notch for the 8MP selfie camera.
On the back, the Oppo A16 has a three-camera setup consisting of 13MP primary units, 2MP macro and 2MP monochrome. The smartphone is 8.4 mm thick, weighs 190 grams and its back shell displays a glossy metallic finish.
Under the hood, the Oppo A16 has a Helio G35 SoC with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The smartphone runs ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box and has a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The entire package is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that is powered via a USB-C port. The rest of the A16’s highlights include a side fingerprint reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Oppo A16 is available in Pearl Blue, Space Silver and Crystal Black colors. It is priced at IDR 1,999,000 ($140/€115) and is available in Indonesia from several online retailers. However, there is no word about its availability in other markets.
