When Bose introduced its 700 noise cancelbing headphones, we thought it was the end of the QC lineup and it marked the beginning of a new era. Still, the company plans to release a direct successor to the QuietComfort 35 II, as revealed by an FCC record.
The list doesn’t reveal much, except that the new headphones will be called Bose QuietComfort 45 and they would almost look like their predecessors. The only change on the outside is the USB-C port instead of the aged microUSB.
Otherwise, some of you will probably be delighted to see that the hardware controls are retained. As cool as touch controls, helping to streamline design, they are rarely as responsive as their hardware counterparts.

Things are still not clear when it comes to features, but the ANC is on the menu, we are just wondering if it would be better than the Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 or if it will be positioned in a price range lower than this one.
