Another budget Galaxy A phone is being updated to Android 11. The latest addition is the Galaxy A10 which was originally launched with Android 9 and which had been updated to Android 10 in April of last year. This will likely be the last major OS update for the A10s.
The new update carries the A107FXXU8CUG1 build number and also brings the Android security patch of July 2021. Users in Malaysia and Vietnam have reported that the update is available on their devices and that it is also expected to reach units in more markets in the coming weeks.
Galaxy A10 owners can expect the usual set of Android 11 and One UI 3.1 features, such as one-time permissions, improved notification management, an update to the Samsung internet and keyboard, and new multimedia controls, among others.
