Amazfit has completed three years in India, and to celebrate this milestone, Zepp Health – which owns the Zepp and Amazfit brands – today announced the Zepp Z in the Indian market. The Zepp Z is priced at INR 25,999 ($350/€295) and will be available for purchase in the country from July 20 on Amazon.in.
The Zepp Z sports a 1.39″ AMOLED color touchscreen with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels and a pixel density of 326 ppi. The screen is covered with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3, has a maximum brightness of 550 nits and supports more than 50 dials.
The smartwatch has a water resistance of 5 ATM and comes with heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level monitoring and stress monitoring. It can also track your sleep and comes with 90 sports modes to cover a wide variety of activities.
The Zepp Z also has GPS and Alexa on board. The latter allows you to control smart home devices, set alarms, check the weather and perform some additional activities via the smartwatch when connected to a smartphone.
In addition to Alexa, you also get an offline voice assistant built into the Zepp Z, which supports 58 voice commands to help you use the smartwatch in hands-free mode.
The Zepp Z weighs 40 grams without its leather strap and contains a 340 mAh battery advertised to offer up to 15 days of endurance. And once the cell is completely empty, you can recharge it with the supplied wireless magnetic charger, which takes 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery.
