Earlier this week, ZTE teased the Axon 30 5G with a selfie camera built into the screen, and today the company dropped another teaser, revealing that the area above the camera will have a pixel density of 400 ppi – that’s 2 times more than the previous generation.
Higher pixel density will result in better image quality, better clarity and less fogging, which spoiled the experience on the Axon 20 5G – the world’s first commercial smartphone with on-screen camera. In addition, a higher pixel density should also make the sub-screen selfie camera less visible.

ZTE has yet to disclose anything else about the Axon 30 5G, but a smartphone believed to be the Axon 30 5G achieved 3C certification with a 55W charge last week, and you can expect the company to reveal more about the smartphone in the days leading up to the July 22 announcement.
